The 2001 space baby now has some space pets to space play with

Three Leaves Artwork recently posted several spacetastic animal paintings that get cooler every time I look at them.

The artist had this to say about the technique used to create them:

I use watercolor from the brand Van Gogh and white drawing ink for details. I work on A5 format, and as I use a lot of water a 300 g/m2 thickness paper is perfect.

It takes 30 minutes to an hour to make one artwork.

Blue is a color I find very ethereal and dream-like, so I love using it in my watercolors.

Whatever the medium, they look pretty cool. Check out several more after the jump.
